The Banksia Grove Veterinary Hospital has now added a brand new, digital dental x-ray unit specifically designed for small animals like cats, dogs and rabbits. It takes seconds to take an x-ray of your pet’s teeth. It allows the Vets to take a nice speedy and safe x-ray image, rather than using old second-hand human machines and fidley dental films. It is generally undertaken when assessing teeth prior to deciding if they are healthy enough to be saved, as they often find teeth are more diseased than the Vets can tell from above the gum-line!
